Lifeguard Certification
TRAINED TO SAVE
This course is designed to give participants the life-saving skills and knowledge needed to be lifeguards in pools and aquatic centers. Through this certification course, you will learn teamwork, rescue and surveillance skills, First Aid and CPR/AED, as well as other vital skills needed to become a professional lifeguard. Our blended learning format allows participants to do course work online along with hands-on learning both virtually & at the YMCA.

All lifeguards trained by the Y are certified through the American Red Cross, a nationwide leader in water safety and lifeguard instruction.
